Call for price. This bike is basically a Harley softail custom from the late 90’s but better. Better engine, better chassis, better suspension etc.. Like a Harley, parts and accessories for the most part are easy to find for these bikes.
The 2003 was a middle-weight cruiser produced by the Indian Motorcycle Company of America in Gilroy, California, from 2001 to 2003. It featured a 1,437 cc (87.7 cu in) 45° S&S V-twin engine with a bore and stroke of 92.1 mm × 108.0 mm. The engine was air-cooled, equipped with an S&S Super E induction system, and had a compression ratio of 9.4:1. It produced a maximum power output of 75 horsepower (54.7 kW) at 5,200 rpm and delivered 95.7 Nm (70.6 ft·lbs) of torque. The motorcycle used a five-speed transmission with a belt final drive.
The 2003 Indian Scout had a robotically-welded, high-tensile steel frame, powder-coated black, with a wheelbase of 1,700 mm (67 in) and a rake and trail of 32° and 133 mm (5.25 in), respectively. Front suspension consisted of 41 mm telescopic forks, while the rear featured nitrogen-charged hydraulic dampers with coil springs and adjustable preload. The seat height was 670 mm (26.5 in), and the dry weight was 284 kg (626 lbs). The bike had a fuel capacity of 22 liters (5.8 US gallons).
Braking was provided by stainless-steel discs on both front and rear wheels, clamped by four-piston billet-aluminum calipers. The front tire size was 110/90-16, and the rear tire was 130/90-16.
